Playing with the dog
The dog has now accepted me as a being capable of throwing a ball, and thus entertaining her. I guess it’s an honor, but it really just means lots more contact with dog saliva. Yuck.

Palatable
In my right hand: a piece of tomato. In my left hand: a piece of daikon radish. These, not french fries and hot dogs, are the things I crave. Sure, a little cake is fine once in a while, but give me my vegetables!

Birthdays are exhausting
Well, the big birthday weekend is over.. and I need a nap. Another one. I had a GREAT time, but I’m glad those only come around once a year. Here I am riding one of my presents in the park. More to come later.

So I went to the science museum this weekend, which has a special section for little people. It was fun! I especially enjoyed eating all the things that I wasn’t supposed to eat.

We just had a very nice two-week visit from our Turkish grandparents. It was great getting to know Sevgi and Mustafa. We miss them already!
